About Me

Hi, I’m glad you stopped by this page to get to know more about me.  While in college, I decided it would be a GREAT time to adopt a puppy.  I thought I might be BRILLIANT at raising a dog.  Because I had watched lots of Dog Whisperer episodes and read one book on it. :::eye roll::: Also, my boyfriend at the time (now fiance) had a puppy of his own and she didn’t seem “all that bad.”  At that time, we were all living together with a room mate.  Clearly I was full of great ideas. Needless to say, there were a lot of mistakes I made and pitfalls I wish I could have avoided.

I quickly fell in love with training my dogs (and them for that matter, I mean look at them!). And I found that the dog training field fulfilled my need to help others achieve their goals as well as allow me to spend time with dogs.  Yea, I was hooked.  Fast forward, I have worked with countless of puppies, adult dogs and their parents.  I am proud to be a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT, an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a Family Paws Parent Educator.

I have a passion for coaching pro-active people in raising their puppy without all the drama most puppy owners face.  I do this while providing science based methods and wisdom from my own experience along the way.  Lastly, I never work with force, fear or intimidation.  Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to working with you!
